Position Overview

This role is situated within C-urb's Property Services Team, primarily focused on supporting the management and maintenance of our diverse housing portfolio. The position allows for flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

The Property Services Coordinator will collaborate with team members to facilitate the achievement of various objectives related to property maintenance and repair services across our extensive housing network.

A key responsibility of this role will be to spearhead the collection of asset management data, including associated costs and comprehensive analysis, contributing to strategic asset management and the execution of investment, cyclical, and repair initiatives across our portfolio.

The successful candidate will oversee the preparation of annual stock condition surveys and conduct validation surveys to ascertain current and future investment needs. Additionally, this role will involve managing significant insurance claims and other major repair and maintenance projects as required.

Candidate Profile

To excel as a Property Services Coordinator, candidates should possess an HNC in a Building, Technical, or Construction-related field, or an equivalent advanced trade qualification. A solid educational background and experience in evaluating building defects and cost estimation are essential.

A thorough understanding of Scottish Housing Quality Standards and the Energy Efficiency Standard in Social Housing is required. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive grasp of Housing Association operations and a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.

Proven experience in a similar capacity, along with project management expertise, is crucial. Candidates should be adept at preparing and presenting reports, demonstrating strong analytical and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively is necessary.
