Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, we're seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer Assembly to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to improve productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to drive site productivity.
  • Ensure all process controls, including documentation, machine recipes, BOM & routes, PFMEA, and specifications, are in place and up to date.
  • Lead and facilitate an improvement culture to achieve continuous improvement targets.
  • Address in-process quality issues and non-conformances in production.
Requirements
  • Extrusion or wire and cable manufacturing experience.
  • Engineering qualifications desirable.
  • Hands-on practical experience working with machinery and processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Confidence to make fast-paced and information-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work on several projects and prioritize activities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing IT and MS applications.
  • Six Sigma and 8D qualified; Green belt level or above desirable but not essential.
