Join TE Connectivity as a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer
At TE Connectivity, you will have the opportunity to harness your skills while collaborating with individuals from various backgrounds and sectors to foster a safer, more sustainable, and interconnected world.
Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineering Teams at TE Connectivity are pivotal in leading processes related to stamping, molding, and assembly. They ensure that operations are optimized for both quality and efficiency. With expertise in mold tooling, die tooling, machining, and assembly methodologies, these teams possess a comprehensive understanding of the relevant manufacturing processes. This includes the optimization and standardization of stamping, molding, assembly, and other manufacturing operations.
The Manufacturing Engineering Teams play a crucial role in enabling TE business unit plants to meet TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) standards, implement Centers of Excellence (COE), and share Best Demonstrated Practices (BDP). They provide guidance on tool and machine duplications, corrections, and enhancements. Additionally, they are responsible for designing and developing manufacturing processes and automation systems, which are essential for both new product developments and the enhancement of existing products.
Furthermore, these teams collaborate with Product Development to select and optimize tools for piece part production and determine the most suitable manufacturing concepts based on anticipated production volumes, quality standards, and manufacturing locations. They serve as a vital link between engineering and production, ensuring the manufacturability of new designs and facilitating smooth production ramp-ups. They also support research and development teams in producing sample manufacturing equipment, product samples, and prototypes.
