About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition to join our team at Sixty Eight People. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support our business objectives and promote a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business objectives and promote a high-performance culture.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Talent & Culture team, including the creation and execution of the talent acquisition plan for hotel openings.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Work with the Talent & Culture Director to implement policies and procedures that align with our property's local needs.
  • Employee Experience: Enhance employee experience by working with individuals at all levels to implement and further develop diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Advisory Support: Provide advisory support to managers and supervisors in areas such as performance management, discipline, grievance, and employment law.
  • Performance Management: Support performance management, appraisal, promotion, and reward processes.
  • HR Programs and Analytics: Support the creation and execution of HR programs, tools, metrics, and analytics across the business.
  • Talent & Culture Team Management: Oversee the Talent & Culture team to analyze and review statistical reports to identify trends and adjust resources accordingly.
Requirements
  • Hotel Background: Must have experience working in a hotel environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Be strategically minded, resourceful, and an influencer who can develop and guide others in an authentic way.
