Detailed Job Description

As a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of industrial temperature sensors, SkyeBiz is looking for candidates with a background in electronics, mechanics, or IT sales.

Your Role

You will oversee all incoming inquiries and, when necessary, engage in outbound activities. Your responsibilities include sending quotes within established SLAs and ensuring timely follow-ups to achieve and surpass sales growth targets.

You will also be tasked with nurturing relationships with current clients and prospects, reporting directly to the Managing Director while collaborating closely with workshop management, marketing, and other team members.

Objectives:

  • Achieve and exceed set sales targets.
  • Enhance conversion rates from quotes to secured contracts.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate follow-up on all inquiries.
  • Maintain comprehensive oversight of the sales pipeline, aligning it with targets.
  • Analyze lost opportunities to refine sales processes based on real data.
  • Foster existing client relationships through effective communication.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within current and prospective clients through proactive business development.

Core Duties:

  • Receive and acknowledge all incoming inquiries.
  • Respond to clients swiftly, providing accurate quotes.
  • Advise clients on product solutions tailored to their specific applications, escalating complex cases internally as needed.
  • Maintain precise records of all contacts and inquiries in the CRM to facilitate follow-ups and order processing.
  • Ensure the CRM is updated with the latest information on all opportunities and inquiries.
  • Promptly quote manufacturing and distribution jobs.
  • Provide monthly sales and pipeline performance metrics to senior management.
  • Deliver weekly KPI reports to the Managing Director.
  • Engage in weekly meetings with management to review past performance and set goals for the upcoming week.
  • Occasionally attend trade shows to promote the company.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations to confirm payment statuses and schedule workshop tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales administration.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
