As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our Account Directors and supporting the pre-sales efforts for our Enterprise and Channel account base.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to Account Directors and Sales Engineers to ensure successful sales outcomes.
- Develop and present product and application solutions to potential customers, highlighting the value proposition of Ribbon's solutions.
- Work closely with the Account Director to identify revenue opportunities within our target account base and develop strategies to drive sales growth.
- Coordinate and provide technical support to ensure that Ribbon solutions are selected by our customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful sales outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide technical expertise to support the sales organization.
- Proven sales support experience and established relationships in the industry.
- Thorough understanding of Voice over IP standards, applications, and practices.
- Thorough understanding of Session Border Controllers and associated standards, applications, and practices.
- Experience in the Telecom industry with a proven track record of selling and partnering with Enterprise accounts, Systems Integrators, Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service Providers.
- Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with NFV, OpenStack, and Containers is highly desirable, as well as a strong understanding of Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google).
- Experience with CRM systems and the ability to create quotes around Ribbon Technologies.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners at all levels.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills, with the ability to present to C-level executives and other stakeholders.
