Detailed Job Description

As a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of industrial temperature sensors, SkyeBiz is looking for candidates with a background in electronics, mechanics, or IT sales.

Your Role

You will oversee all incoming inquiries and, when necessary, engage in outbound activities. Your responsibilities include sending quotes within agreed timelines and following up to meet and exceed sales targets.

Objectives:

  • Achieve and surpass established sales targets.
  • Enhance conversion rates from quotes to secured contracts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate follow-up on all inquiries.
  • Maintain oversight of the sales pipeline to align with targets.
  • Analyze reasons for lost opportunities to refine sales processes.
  • Foster existing client relationships through effective communication.
  • Identify opportunities within current and prospective clients to promote sales solutions.

Core Duties:

  • Promptly acknowledge and respond to all inbound inquiries.
  • Provide accurate and swift quotes to clients.
  • Advise clients on product solutions tailored to their applications, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Record all interactions and inquiries with precision in the CRM system.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM to ensure all opportunities are tracked.
  • Deliver timely quotes for manufacturing and distribution jobs.
  • Report monthly sales and pipeline KPIs to senior management.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to review KPIs and set goals.
  • Occasionally attend trade shows to represent the company.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations to manage payment schedules and workshop tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales administration and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
