-Position Overview:

Are you an experienced specification sales professional with a background in working with architects and consulting engineers within the HVAC industry? If you possess the necessary expertise and are looking for a new challenge, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

-Role Responsibilities:

  • As a Specification Manager, you will be responsible for promoting our client's innovative energy-efficient HVAC solutions throughout the Greater London area.
  • Your primary focus will be on establishing specifications with architects, M&E consultants, and consulting engineers, dedicating 80-90% of your time to this crucial aspect.
  • You will track projects in collaboration with M&E contractors and building services professionals, ensuring a seamless process from specification to installation.
  • Engage with a diverse range of sectors, including educational institutions, retail spaces, healthcare facilities, and commercial properties, maximizing your impact.
  • Present informative CPD seminars to educate specifiers on the advantages and features of our HVAC product range, typically conducting three seminars per month.
  • Your work will involve a mix of field visits (four days a week) and administrative tasks (one day a week), allowing you to manage your schedule effectively.

-Candidate Profile:

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in specification sales within the HVAC or building services sector.
  • Experience with aligned products such as air handling units, chillers, and pumps will be highly advantageous.
  • You should be adept at conducting technical design reviews and providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Collaboration with internal sales and design teams to develop engineering solutions will be a key part of your role.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to see projects through to completion are essential.
  • We are looking for an outgoing, organized individual who excels in problem-solving and prioritization.
  • A valid UK driver's license is required.
