About the Role

As a Crisis Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges, alongside other complex needs such as learning disabilities, physical health issues, or substance misuse. You will work within a community-based setting, providing a recovery-focused service that empowers individuals to achieve their goals and enhance their well-being.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and effective support to individuals in crisis situations.
  • Develop individualized care plans tailored to each person's unique needs and circumstances.
  • Connect individuals with appropriate resources and services within the community.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists, social workers, and medical practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Promote a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking assistance.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to person-centered care and empowering individuals.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of various mental health conditions.
  • A Health and Social Care level 2 or level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
