Position Overview
EKC Group is looking for a dedicated Facilities Support Specialist to contribute to the effective management of our campus facilities. In this role, you will be an essential member of the Facilities team, ensuring the proper maintenance and functionality of the premises through various operational tasks.Key Responsibilities
Your duties will encompass a broad spectrum of services typically associated with facilities management, including:- Ensuring the security of the premises and confirming that facilities are safe for use
- Overseeing and maintaining water service quality
- Conducting emergency lighting inspections
- Serving as a Fire Marshal when necessary
- Acting as a First Aider on-site
- Performing porterage tasks
Candidate Profile
We are in search of an enthusiastic and diligent individual to fill this position. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, demonstrating flexibility in task management and shift scheduling. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to perform under pressure are essential.Knowledge of emergency alarm systems, lighting tests, and record-keeping practices is also required.
While prior experience in a similar role is beneficial, a genuine passion for the field and a willingness to learn are of utmost importance. Ideally, candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the campus.
