Overview of the Position

EKC Group is looking for a dedicated Estates Assistant to support our facilities on a supply basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the maintenance and operational efficiency of our campus. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential services typically associated with Estates management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the security of the premises and confirm that the facilities are suitable for use.
  • Oversee and maintain water services and quality standards.
  • Conduct emergency lighting tests to ensure compliance.
  • Serve as a Fire Marshal when necessary.
  • Provide First Aid assistance on site as required.
  • Perform porterage tasks as needed.

Candidate Profile

We are eager to find an enthusiastic and reliable individual to fill this position on a supply basis. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team, demonstrate flexibility in approach to tasks and shift schedules, and exhibit strong organizational skills while working under pressure.

A solid understanding of emergency alarm systems, lighting tests, and record-keeping is essential.

While prior experience in a similar role is beneficial, a genuine passion for the field and a willingness to share knowledge with others are equally important.

Candidates should ideally reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the campus.
