We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Facilities Manager to join our team at the Highland Council.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the facilities and maintenance of our schools and other buildings, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
- Develop and implement facilities management plans and policies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- Supervise and train staff as needed
Requirements:
- A competent standard of literacy and numeracy
- Valid Driving Licence
