We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secure & Complex Services Advocate to join our team at POhWER. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults with profound and multiple needs.

As a Secure & Complex Services Advocate, you will be responsible for providing advocacy, information, and advice to individuals who require support. You will work closely with clients and professionals to understand their needs and concerns, and provide persuasive verbal and written representations to ensure their voices are heard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advocacy, information, and advice to vulnerable adults with profound and multiple needs.
  • Work closely with clients and professionals to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Provide persuasive verbal and written representations to ensure clients' voices are heard.
  • Support clients in making informed decisions about their care and support.
  • Work in partnership with other agencies to ensure clients receive the support they need.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding communication skills with a strong passion for supporting vulnerable people.
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults, especially those affected by significant health and social care issues.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Proven track record in advocacy, information, and advice roles, ideally in health, social care, or voluntary settings.
  • Residence within commutable distance of Stevenage, with a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
