MJ Consulting Engineers, a specialist structural engineering firm and part of the Structural Engineering Alliance Group, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Manchester office.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned structural engineer to lead our team in delivering high-value projects, utilizing the latest design software and collaborating with our clients to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of structural designs for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage project resources, delegating tasks to team members, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Implement company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence across the team.
  • Oversee project budgets and staff resources, making informed decisions to optimize project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
  • Proven track record of cost estimation and project management.
