About the Role:

MJC, a leading structural engineering firm and part of the Structural Engineering Alliance Group, is seeking a talented Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Manchester office. As a critical member of our team, you will be working on high-value projects, including theatre buildings, show productions, and outdoor events, as well as the preservation and enhancement of Grade I and Grade II listed buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the latest design software to create and manage structural designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead projects, delegating tasks to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Proficient in using design tools within a BIM environment and familiar with industry design standards.
  • Develop innovative solutions to challenges, working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage workload efficiently.
  • Fluent in English, with a full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK, with the ability to demonstrate proof when requested.
