Job Title: Graduate Structural Engineer

Industry: Construction Industry

MJC, a specialist structural engineering firm, has an opening for a Graduate Structural Engineer at our Manchester office. As a critical part of our team, you will be working primarily on theatre buildings, show productions, and outdoor events, as well as on the preservation and enhancement of Grade I and Grade II listed buildings.

With project costs up to £12m and the use of the latest design software, this role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in impactful, high-value projects. A competitive salary of up to £40k will be offered, commensurate with the importance of this role within our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use the latest design software to create and manage structural designs.
  • Ensure projects are appropriately resourced, delegating work to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred).
  • Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and to develop your skills and career with training support.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel across the UK.
