Position Title: Lead Financial Operations Partner

Role Purpose

We are seeking a Lead Financial Operations Partner to play a crucial role within our Finance Team. This position will provide essential financial guidance and support to the Leadership Team and broader Operations and Finance Teams. The primary objective of this role is to deliver professional financial insights and timely performance analysis, facilitating the achievement of Premdor's strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee a member of the Operations Finance Team.
  • Collaborate with senior non-financial stakeholders, offering in-depth analysis of financial and KPI reports to drive informed decision-making and enhance profitability.
  • Engage with Operational Managers to scrutinize variance analyses and promote operational efficiencies.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly forecasts, along with annual budgeting processes.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with cost center leaders to evaluate actuals against forecasts.
  • Review management account packages with a focus on enhancing profitability and operational performance.
  • Enhance the understanding of financial reporting's impact on business performance through insightful analysis linking financials to strategic goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, establishing a robust framework of controls and reconciliations to support data integrity.
  • Manage and refine reporting inputs, collaborating with local Finance Teams to deliver exceptional finance services.
  • Conduct ad hoc investigations, reports, and financial proposals aligned with business strategy and performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in relevant financial roles.
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing and operational reporting.
  • Strong analytical background.
  • Deep understanding of financial management, reporting, controls, and governance.
  • Proven ability to foster cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience in managing standard costing systems, variance analysis, and ERP updates.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.

  • Competence in preparing detailed financial and performance models to support decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings and influencing decisions.
  • A proactive approach to engaging with the business beyond traditional finance functions.
