About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at Premdor. As a key member of our Interior Operations Finance Team, you will provide professional financial expertise and support to our Leadership Team and wider Operations and Finance Teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support one member of the Ops Finance Team
  • Partner with Senior non-financial stakeholders to analyze financial and KPI reports, driving meaningful insights to inform business decisions
  • Work with Operational Managers to challenge variance analysis and drive efficiencies
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets
  • Communicate with cost centre heads to analyze actuals and forecasting predictions
  • Monitor and query management account packs to drive profitability and performance
  • Improve the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance by providing analysis and delivering insight linking financials to business strategy
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, with a framework of controls and reconciliations to underpin the data set
  • Manage and develop reporting inputs, engaging with local Finance Teams to deliver a first-class end-to-end finance service
  • Ad hoc, proactive investigation, reports, capital proposals, and financial propositions relevant to business/function strategy and performance
Requirements
  • At least five years of post-qualified experience in relevant positions
  • Strong manufacturing and operational reporting experience
  • Analytical background
  • Strong understanding of financial management and reporting, financial controls and processes, implementation, and governance
  • Proven ability to build relationships cross-functionally
  • Experience in maintaining standard costing systems, analyzing variances, and updating business ERP's
Skills and Attributes
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to extract and interpret key information from large data sets
  • Analytical mindset – able to interpret data and produce meaningful insight
  • Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to demonstrate the ability to engage with and influence stakeholders
  • Comfortable in preparing detailed financial and performance models to aid decision making
  • Verbal and written presentation skills – present findings and influence decision
  • Desire to get involved with the business and not just run finance from spreadsheets
  • Continuous improvement mentality and ability to drive change
