Financial Business Partner for Infrastructure Projects

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at AmcoGiffen. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and analysis to our regional commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze key financial data for our live commercial projects to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
- Collate and summarize information from multiple sites to provide a comprehensive analysis of our project portfolios.
- Work closely with our regional commercial directors to identify opportunities for growth and manage risk in their project portfolios.
- Support our regional commercial managers during external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.
- Act as a subject matter expert on contract accounting and influence system development within the organization.
- Support analysis and reporting related to mergers and acquisitions activity.
- Lead on the completion of the annual insurance questionnaire and implement improvements to our financial performance.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with budget holders, influencing and challenging as necessary.
- Ensure accuracy of contract working capital reporting, including weekly contract receipts forecasting and debtors aging.
- Challenge cash positions on contracts with commercial teams to ensure compliance with the Prompt Payment Code of practice.
- Manage and develop the Assistant Finance Business Partner, coaching them through their role and professional examinations.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a CIMA finalist or newly qualified Management Accountant with strong attention to detail, data analytics skills, and experience in management accounts and business partnering.
