Position Overview

Grosvenor Casino is seeking a Financial Services Associate to manage the club's financial transactions, ensuring accurate accounting while adhering to all gambling regulations and maintaining the company's esteemed reputation through compliance with its policies. You will undergo a comprehensive training program crafted by the head cashier, equipping you to work independently in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming and assisting customers at the Cash Desk
  • Embodying our core values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions
  • Collaborating effectively with the cash desk team and the broader casino staff
  • Adhering to all company protocols as directed by the cash desk manager
  • Complying with the Gambling Act and associated regulations
  • Promoting the loyalty program to customers when appropriate
  • Assisting with cash or asset counts within the establishment
  • Maintaining accurate records and accounts of all cash desk operations as outlined in the cash desk manual and as requested by the head cashier
  • Reporting directly to the head cashier

Qualifications
  • Possession of a PFL license or eligibility to apply for one from the Gambling Commission upon commencing the role
  • Strong numeracy skills with the ability to manage and account for substantial cash amounts
  • Previous experience in a cashier or accounting role is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Willingness to learn about legislation pertinent to the cash desk function, sufficient to pass a competency assessment
  • Availability to work shifts at any time, including weekends and public holidays

Additional Information
  • This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and most weekends is essential
  • Exceptional customer service skills are a prerequisite
  • A gaming license is necessary for independent operation, with comprehensive training provided
