Position Summary: In the role of Senior Financial Planning Associate, you will be instrumental in assisting Financial Advisors and overseeing a varied client portfolio. This position transcends conventional paraplanning, providing ample client engagement and strategic involvement. Key focus areas include:
- Tax Strategy: Contributions to ISAs and pensions, capital gains tax planning, selection of tax-efficient wrappers.
- Estate Strategy: Strategies for inheritance tax reduction, trust establishment.
- Generational Wealth Planning: Support in wealth transition.
- Investment Reviews: Evaluation of tax situations and investment performance.
Main Duties:
- Develop and nurture robust client relationships, address inquiries, and schedule review sessions.
- Participate in client consultations, accurately documenting financial requirements and goals.
- Work closely with Financial Advisors to craft and execute customized financial plans.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of financial instruments and services.
- Prepare in-depth investment strategy and recommendation documents, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Carry out quarterly investment assessments, maintaining a systematic client file review process to monitor holdings and priorities.
- Utilize platforms such as Analytics, O&M, Voyant, Papercloud, along with systems like Nucleus and 7IM.
- Ensure prompt execution of financial recommendations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, CII Level 6 Advanced Diploma, or equivalent credentials are preferred.
