Location: South Wales Area, on-site in Services

Salary: £41,600 per annum pro rata

Employment Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week / Monday to Friday

Duration: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Regional Operations Manager to supervise our social care initiatives within a specified region of South Wales.

The ideal candidate will be accountable for maintaining the highest standards of care, adhering to regulatory requirements, and ensuring the overall effectiveness of the services in their jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Regional Operations Manager will lead, manage, and mentor a team of service managers and care personnel to provide exceptional care services.
  • The Regional Operations Manager will ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative standards, including CQC guidelines.
  • The Regional Operations Manager will assess and enhance service quality through regular evaluations and performance assessments.
  • They will formulate and execute strategic plans to improve service delivery and meet organizational goals.
  • The Regional Operations Manager will cultivate positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage budgets to ensure financial viability and operational efficiency.
  • The Regional Operations Manager will identify opportunities for growth and advancement within the region.
  • The Regional Operations Manager will provide training, guidance, and development opportunities for staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior management position within the social care sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and legislative standards in social care.
  • Exceptional leadership and personnel management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as necessary.
