Our client, a prominent and well-respected membership organization with a diverse membership base exceeding 7,500 individuals both in the UK and internationally, is currently seeking a dedicated Membership Officer.
Role Overview:
The Membership Officer will play a crucial role in developing strategies aimed at expanding the membership through enhanced recruitment, retention, and reinstatement efforts, as well as increasing the number of members who are professionally registered with the Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating streamlined application processes and ensuring timely delivery of welcome materials to new members.
- Managing and addressing incoming inquiries from both current and prospective members, as well as the general public, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Overseeing the membership email inbox to ensure accurate record-keeping and comprehensive information dissemination.
- Providing administrative support for membership recruitment initiatives and assisting staff who require office-based support during their outreach activities.
- Coordinating the quarterly renewals process, ensuring that the CRM system operates effectively and that renewal invitations are sent out promptly.
- Processing membership payments through the designated payment platform and generating necessary links as required.
- Utilizing the CRM system to generate reports that support essential membership functions.
- Issuing invoices and receipts for incoming payments and outstanding invoices as needed.
