Job Title: Lecturer in Financial Management and Quantitative Finance

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced lecturer to join our academic team in the field of Financial Management and Quantitative Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and assessing students across a range of finance modules, from Level 4 to Level 7, and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the discipline within the University.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and assessing students in finance modules, including Financial Management, Financial Analysis, and Quantitative Finance
  • Developing and delivering high-quality teaching materials and resources
  • Assessing student performance and providing feedback
  • Contributing to the development of the finance curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Engaging in research and scholarship in the field of finance
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, plus experience in teaching and assessing in the Higher Education sector
  • Knowledge and experience of teaching in a Higher Education environment, with a focus on finance and quantitative methods
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent collaborative skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver in a demanding academic environment
