Position Overview

As a Strengths and Assets Coach, you will collaborate with individuals who have faced homelessness, guiding them to identify and leverage their personal strengths and resources. Your primary objective will be to foster sustainable housing solutions by enhancing community connections, facilitating access to training, employment, and volunteer opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize and refine a variety of coaching techniques to create personalized progression plans, employing a psychologically informed approach that promotes positive transformation.
  • Support members in building their confidence and capacity to engage with community resources, empowering them to become active participants in society.
  • Design and implement engaging educational programs focused on employability, volunteering, tenancy skills, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop Strengths and Assets Services, partnering with various sectors to enhance learning and participation initiatives.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in community education, skills development, or group facilitation.
  • Experience working with marginalized populations, utilizing a coaching approach to foster strengths and assets.
  • Willingness to pursue a practical teaching qualification, such as Level 3 AET or equivalent.
