We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learner Coach to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our education and training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences to our learners, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver curriculum elements to meet the learning needs of our learners, working closely with our Direct Delivery/Development Lead.
- Learner Management: Manage a caseload of up to 40 learners, providing coaching and mentoring to support their progress and achievement.
- Progress Tracking: Track learner progress and achievements, ensuring that all work is completed as planned and progress is being made.
- Safeguarding: Ensure that safeguarding processes are known, managed, and communicated for all learners within your responsibility.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Maths and English specialists to coordinate functional skills tutoring for learners, and support external training providers to engage with learners on apprenticeships.
- Experience: A minimum of one year's experience in the custody and detention sector, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this field.
- Qualifications: An Assessor/Coach qualification is desirable, but not essential. We offer opportunities for development and apprenticeships for those who do not hold this qualification.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, colleagues, and external partners.
