HRLife Ltd is seeking a proactive In House Recruiter to support their search for a skilled professional with previous experience in hiring for the engineering, manufacturing, and blue-collar sectors. Reporting to the HR Director and working as part of a small, friendly HR team, you will be responsible for the full end-to-end recruitment process, supporting hiring managers to source engineers and head office roles using various market approaches.

This is a varied role that will include:

  • Conducting initial role briefings to understand hiring manager needs and devising the best hiring strategy
  • Directly identifying and engaging high-quality candidates
  • Screening, interviewing, and shortlisting, keeping all parties updated and engaged throughout the process
  • Providing constructive feedback
  • Building and nurturing talent pools for future hiring needs
  • Managing the offer process and supporting with onboarding
  • Attending regular recruitment activity update meetings
  • Promoting the Company's reputation and values
  • Undertaking ad hoc project work, such as delivering recruitment and interview training

This is an ideal opportunity for a recruiter with previous in-house experience who is looking to develop their skills. Someone who enjoys working on their initiative and taking ownership of recruitment projects and campaigns from start to finish, ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. Ideally, you will have:

  • Good experience in sourcing and attracting candidates using various methods, including job boards and careers fairs
  • Previous experience in blue-collar, industrial, or engineering recruitment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in recruiting apprentices would be advantageous
  • Access to a car, as the role is based on a business park and not walkable from the train station

Up to £39,000 per annum

Hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days in the office
