We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Research Director to join our Research and Insight Team at Coventry Building Society.

The successful candidate will lead market research projects in-house and with third-party agencies to inform business decisions, develop and implement best practice research methodologies, and design and lead on bespoke and syndicated research initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing market research projects from end to end, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior business leaders and external partners
  • Providing expert advice on research methodologies, tools, and techniques, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Designing and leading on research projects, including quantitative and qualitative research initiatives
  • Analyzing and interpreting research data, and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the financial services industry, including market trends and competitor activity

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in market research, including project management, research design, and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex research findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with a range of research methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative techniques
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • A strong understanding of the financial services industry, including market trends and competitor activity
