Job Title: Senior Binding Authority Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Binding Authority Technician to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating insurance documentation, maintaining online filing systems, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate insurance documentation, including BAA slips and endorsements, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain online filing and archiving systems, ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Enter data into the Global system, ensuring that all information is accurate and complete.
  • Prepare and type letters, emails, and other correspondence, using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Arrange extensions to terms of trade and calculate profit commissions and E2Is, using your knowledge of insurance regulations and procedures.
  • Handle queries from brokers, underwriters, claims department, accounts, and clients, escalating issues as needed for timely resolution.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Technical Team Leader regarding ongoing work and adhere to group rules and procedures, including maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in North American Property Binding Authorities within a Lloyd's Broker setting.
  • Proficiency in DCOM, ATLAS Crystal, and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
