As a Binding Authority Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the seamless operation of binder agreements. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Application and Registration: You will be responsible for diligently applying for and registering binder agreements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Documentation and Presentations: Your expertise will be utilized in creating comprehensive market broking documentation and engaging presentations to effectively communicate key information.
  • Premium and Claim Processing: You will manage the processing of premiums and claims, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely settlements.
  • Financial Monitoring: Your attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring premium payments and identifying any discrepancies or potential issues.
  • Collaboration and Support: You will actively collaborate with various stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and clients, to resolve queries and coordinate activities effectively.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience providing technical support within the London Market.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard systems such as Atlas, Crystal, DCom, DA-Sats, and ECF.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • A genuine willingness to learn and continuously develop your expertise within the field of binding authorities.
