We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Binding Technician to join our team at GRe, a leading reinsurance company. As a key member of our Binders Technical Operations Division, you will play a crucial role in supporting the processing and resolution of queries related to the end-to-end premium bordereau processing.
Key Responsibilities- Process complex technical transactions, which are mostly related to monthly bordereau for Binding Authorities.
- Support the resolution of pre-processing queries raised by our offshore team within 48 hours of receipt.
- Manage the relationship with our Accounting and Credit Control Team, with accountability to support the reconciliation and collection of premium.
- Carry out ad hoc tasks that may arise from time to time as specified by their line manager.
- Strong understanding and experience in bordereau processing.
- Ability to demonstrate an excellent level of technical insurance knowledge and understanding of the Industry and its regulators.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of the full end-to-end process model across all disciplines, including all associated Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Turnaround Times (TATs).
- Strong understanding and experience working with the Bureau (Xchanging now known as DXC) in the workings of accounting and settlement (A&S) protocols and activity as they relate to the function of premium process and signings.
- Working knowledge of Facultative business and Proportional Treaties as well as Line Slips and Binding Authorities.
- Good understanding of Market Reform Contract (MRC).
