Job Description

As a key member of the Genomics England team, you will play a critical role in supporting the CEO in achieving the company's strategic objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative organization that is shaping the future of genomics and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Coordination: Provide strategic support to the CEO, ensuring the smooth operation of the CEO Office and the effective management of the CEO's diary.
  • Secretariat and Administration: Manage the CEO's correspondence, prepare meeting materials, and maintain accurate records of meetings and decisions.
  • Strategic Advice and Support: Provide data-driven insights and advice to the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team on company-wide priorities and reporting.
  • Initiative and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, drive key initiatives, and ensure executive access when required.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and deliver presentations, briefings, and other materials to support the CEO's engagement with stakeholders, including the Genomics England Board and other key partners.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Exceptional coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the CEO's office and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
