Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team at Permanent Futures. As a Sales Account Manager for Consumer Goods, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers in the FMCG industry.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading FMCG business, established over 50 years ago, and is now growing its commercial team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be working alongside the Head of Sales and National Account Manager's supporting accounts across Grocery, High Street, Online, Discounters, and B2B.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head of Sales and National Account Manager to support accounts across various channels
- Build strong relationships with Buyers and key customers
- Participate in meetings and presentations with customers and Buyers
- Conduct market research for competitor and consumer analysis
- Manage commercial duties, including profile and loss management, forecasting, and negotiating
- Organize price changes, range reviews, and promotion plans
- Perform general administration tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in National Accounts in an FMCG environment
- Experience in supporting or managing accounts with key retailers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks successfully
- Passion for on-the-job learning
- Ambitious and keen to progress
- Energetic and motivated sales professional with a passion for delivering results
