Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations within our esteemed hotel. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of our establishment while collaborating closely with the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for management review.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide insightful updates to department heads.
  • Implement internal control measures to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors for tax compliance.
  • Review financial documents such as invoices and contracts for accuracy and compliance.
  • Work with auditors during annual financial audits to ensure transparency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel accounting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
