Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations within our hospitality establishment. This role is essential in ensuring that our financial practices align with industry standards and contribute to the overall success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger tasks in collaboration with the Financial Controller.
  • Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain oversight and compliance with accounting regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for both management and ownership review.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to guide operational planning.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide regular updates to department leaders and management.
  • Implement internal control measures to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct routine financial audits to identify and correct any discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and collaborate with auditors for tax compliance.
  • Review invoices and contracts for accuracy and adherence to established policies.
  • Coordinate with auditors for the annual financial audit process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent certification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficient in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
