Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to oversee the financial management of our hotel operations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth financial functioning of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions in collaboration with the Financial Controller.
  • Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain operational control.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review and stakeholder insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to guide operational planning.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide regular updates to department heads and management teams.
  • Implement internal control measures to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct regular financial audits to identify discrepancies and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax obligations and collaborate with auditors for tax-related filings.
  • Review and verify invoices and contracts for accuracy and compliance with established policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual financial audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional certification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel accounting or a similar financial role.
  • Proficient in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
