Gas Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Supervisor to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering maintenance tasks in line with contract Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Line Manager in the day-to-day implementation of EMCOR policies, procedures, and standards necessary to maintain the integrity of ongoing operational activities.
- Deliver maintenance activities through effective organisation, planning, and communication, ensuring that staff members are fully competent and trained to undertake tasks in a safe and timely fashion.
- Monitor the progress of maintenance tasks, ensuring that works are completed according to the agreed plan of work and to the satisfaction of the customer and regulatory authorities.
- Regularly monitor the safety performance of all service aspects, identifying areas for improvement, in conjunction with the HSE&Q team.
- Supervise, coordinate, and/or manage Specialist Sub-contractors as required.
- Produce, supervise, and/or manage the completion of appropriate records and documentation, including timesheets, job dockets, work orders, site audits, and inspections.
- Obtain quotations and provide necessary information for the raising of orders to ensure task completion.
- Identify and implement operational improvements to ensure continued provision of high-quality service.
- ACS gas and OFTEC qualifications elements: CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, HTR1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TCPC1.
- NVQ or equivalent gas or plumbing qualification (Level 3 NVQ in Domestic Natural Gas Installation and Maintenance).
- Domestic/Commercial Gas – Oil and LPG experience a plus.
- Gas catering or refrigeration experience as a plus, or willing to be upskilled.
- Experience on a range of commercial boiler plant and domestic boilers in commercial settings.
- Carrying out relevant installations, repairs, and servicing in occupied and unoccupied properties.
- Knowledge of all aspects of mechanical services.
- Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid background within a similar role.
- Knowledge of Permit to Work System.
- Undertaken relevant Health and Safety Training.
