We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to join our team as a Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Specialist Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with sickle cell and thalassaemia, and will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert care to patients with sickle cell and thalassaemia, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with sickle cell and thalassaemia.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care for patients with sickle cell and thalassaemia.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-management and empowerment.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and protocols for the care of patients with sickle cell and thalassaemia.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC.
- Experience in haematology or a related field.
