Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting healthcare teams? We invite you to consider a role as a Ward Administrative Coordinator within our dynamic environment.

An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time Ward Administrative Coordinator at our medium secure unit. This position plays a crucial role within our established multidisciplinary team, which includes various healthcare professionals such as Doctors, Nurses, Health Care Support Workers, Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists. The successful candidate will collaborate with our administration team to deliver comprehensive secretarial and administrative assistance to the clinical team on the ward.

We seek a motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic individual. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in IT and the ability to navigate various computer systems confidently. The role encompasses a diverse range of administrative tasks, including but not limited to admissions, discharges, ordering supplies, word processing, minute-taking, and organizing meetings.

Key Responsibilities

As a Ward Administrative Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all administrative and clerical duties to support the inpatient wards.
  • Reporting directly to the Ward Administration Coordinator.
  • Providing administrative support to ward staff and maintaining clinical and personnel records.
