Wood is seeking a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis and design of steel and concrete structures adhering to various international and company-specific codes and standards (e.g., European, American, British, Shell, Aramco)
  • Perform analysis and design of structures and equipment foundations for both static and dynamic loads
  • Utilize engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, Foundation 3D, and Matt 3D for design analysis
  • Prepare Basis of Design documents, Material Specifications, Material take-offs, Scopes of Work, Technical reports, and coordinate interdisciplinary design efforts
  • Capable of producing design calculations for steel and concrete structures, including seismic design and extreme wind load considerations, while developing design sketches and providing necessary information to designers for assigned projects
  • Collaborate with Designers in the creation of CAD drawings, typically using Microstation, Smartplant 3D, AutoCAD, PDMS, and PDS
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to meet their requirements and assist Designers in the preparation of structural and foundation drawings and details
  • Offer technical support to team members
  • Contribute to the development of a lessons learned database
  • Ensure all work is conducted with a strong emphasis on safety, both in design and in the workplace

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Engineering Degree in a relevant field
  • Chartered Engineer status is preferred but not mandatory
