Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to become a part of our dynamic team as a Healthcare Administrative Coordinator, providing essential administrative support to the Cellular Pathology Department.

Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses a variety of administrative duties, which may involve complex tasks. The successful candidate will be expected to exhibit strong literacy and numeracy capabilities. While prior experience in a similar role is advantageous, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure proficiency.

This is a full-time permanent position, operating Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong educational background with a focus on literacy and numeracy
  • Proficient keyboard skills, ideally with a qualification such as RSAII or equivalent

Experience Requirements

Essential

  • Experience in a healthcare setting or with medical audio typing
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel

Desirable Experience

  • Completion of a medical terminology course
  • Familiarity with data entry tasks
