Position: Senior Event Planner
Location: SW London
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Compensation: £35,000 - £45,000 based on experience, in addition to paid overtime, sales commission, and company bonuses.
Role Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and innovative Senior Event Planner to spearhead the sales, organization, and delivery of prestigious events in London. As a vital part of our team, you will work closely with clients to transform their ideas into reality while upholding the highest service standards and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about event management, possesses a robust network within the industry, and excels in a dynamic environment.
Key Duties:
- Event Management: Oversee the complete event planning process, from initial concept to on-site execution, ensuring seamless operations.
- Sales Development: Craft customized proposals for a variety of inquiries across multiple venues, emphasizing creativity.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for clients, grasping their requirements and translating them into tailored event experiences.
- Venue Coordination: Establish and nurture strong relationships with venues, suppliers, and partners to guarantee timely service delivery.
- Team Oversight: Lead and mentor the on-site team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Financial Oversight: Manage client event budgets, ensuring top-quality standards and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Creative Collaboration: Work alongside the culinary team to create bespoke catering experiences that align with the event theme and client expectations.
- Post-Event Analysis: Conduct evaluations after events to collect feedback and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years in event planning, ideally with a recognized event catering company in London.
- Industry Insight: Comprehensive knowledge of London's event venues and suppliers.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage events effectively.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
