**This is a 22-30 hours a week role, you could be working significantly more hours during busy periods.**
Event work can happen at irregular times Flexibility is required for this role. You will be required to work some evenings and weekends.

**MUST BE A CONFIDENT DRIVER WHO IS WILLING TO DRIVE VARIOUS VEHICLES** (Vintage and normal vans, towing a trailer pizza oven). Training will be provided.

**OVERVIEW OF EVENTS ROLE**
As the WK Events Coordinator, you will be ‘on the ground’ at events, sometimes overseeing the event with the Events Manager, or managing some events yourself. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants a great combination of events supervisory, office/home based and pizzeria work, too. Being willing to help with loading in and out of events, and with the setup, also.
We have a busy calendar of events, especially from May
- September, and you will help us make sure these events are a success. You will be able to hit the ground running, making sure our events setups outfits look the part, are well organised, and are health and safety compliant.
The events we cater span weddings, birthdays, street parties, in-house pizzeria events, corporate workshops, school workshops and more. You will be responsible for creating the amazing Well Kneaded experience ‘off-site’ and maybe occasionally helping out ‘on-site’ at our pizzeria, too.
A key part of your role will require clear communication with the Events Manager, Head Chef at the pizzeria, and the rest of the event teams, in order that events operations are well planned and smoothly executed. The role requires your high capacity for planning and organisation, and you being willing to get stuck in
You will be strategic and able to quickly understand the bigger operational picture of Well Kneaded for diary management and coordination, and will be an excellent team player and motivator. You will be a natural problem solver, managing both client and team expectations with an energetic flair, in the lead up to an event, and also the wind down. Heavy lifting, pizza making and more.
We have 3 main setups that we use for events, our Vintage Pizza Van ‘Wendy’, Our Gazebo and Trailer Pizza Oven ‘Whippet’ and our Gazebo and Effeuno Oven setup. You will need to be confident in driving a van with a pizza oven towed to the back, as well as our vintage pizza van, all of which you will be trained to drive. **Responsibilities**
**PRIMARY**:
Clarify all event info with the Events Manager, Head Chef, and Team and put in place specific requirements for event logistics and staffing. Ensuring the Head Chef is aware of event offerings ahead of time, and that orders are being placed for ingredients, plates and napkins etc.
- Maintain clear records of past and upcoming events and pro-actively communicate these with accountants & internal team when needed.
- Responsible for execution of our events work in line with WK Vision & values to give our clients the best events experience (internally and externally) in London including developing relationships with new venues/ clients.
- Responsibility for health and hygiene and food safety procedure on events, ensuring 100% operationally safe events, and that all events team are trained and prepared in this. This includes responsibility for regular maintenance of all events setups.
- Loading all equipment and ingredients into the van pre and post event, ensuring you have the correct packing and ingredients lists for each event and setup.
- Take part in team briefings and setup maintenance, constantly debriefing with Events Manager about past and upcoming events
**SECONDARY**
- Flexibility to do some Pizzeria shifts as a supervisor, to get to know team and upskill in pizza making/ knowledge in order to be able to step in on events if pizza chef needs help. Th
