Position: Community Support Worker

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Support Workers. In this role, you will work closely with adults who have developmental disabilities, providing essential support and guidance in various aspects of their daily lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Support social skills development through group activities, community outings, and individual interactions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or diploma in Community Services, Health Care Aid, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations or individuals with behavioral challenges is an asset.
  • Valid BC driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Familiarity with complex trauma, Autism, FASD, ODD, or other neurobiological conditions is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
