Position: Community Support Worker
The Community Support Worker plays a vital role in assisting adults with developmental challenges, focusing on enhancing their daily living skills and social interactions. Candidates with a background in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, or Down Syndrome are highly regarded. Proficiency in computer usage is essential for maintaining accurate daily records. Comprehensive training will be provided to all successful applicants.

Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of a certificate or diploma in Community Services, Health Care Aid, Human Services, or a related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in the social services field is preferred
- Experience working with vulnerable populations or those facing behavioral challenges is advantageous
- Possession of a valid BC driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Understanding of complex trauma, Autism, FASD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), or other neurobiological conditions is beneficial
- A clean Criminal Record Check is mandatory
- Strong communication skills are essential
