Job Title: Night Reception Centre Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Night Reception Centre Worker to join our team at Kent County Council's Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking (UAS) Children's Service. As a key member of our Reception Centre team, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to newly arrived unaccompanied asylum-seeking children in Kent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage routines and set goals for young people
  • Facilitate a learning culture in the centre
  • Provide direct support and care to children in a residential setting
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding service that provides accommodation and support to UAS children in Kent. As a Night Reception Centre Worker, you will be working in a residential setting, providing direct support and care to children who have experienced trauma and change. You will be responsible for managing routines, setting goals, and facilitating a learning culture in the centre.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, has strong communication skills, and is able to work collaboratively as part of a team. If you are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of UAS children, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.
