About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at The National Trust For Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty. As a key member of our food preparation team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting delicious food from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Present food in an appealing and appetizing manner
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth service
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Passion for good food and a friendly, positive attitude
- Confidence in following recipes and batch-cooking
- Awareness of health and safety compliance
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays
