Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team in Richmond, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies, enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business, and providing guidance on compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Compliance Risk Management

Provide remediation/mitigation plans, strategies, and advice on potential new/emerging compliance risks that require senior management attention. This interaction should be made through a series of management routines as well as the Annual MLRO and Regulatory Compliance Reports and Risk Assessments that will be presented to all key stakeholders.

Know Your Customer (KYC) Compliance

Own the KYC Compliance process, ensuring that all customer due diligence is conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Policies and Procedures

Draft, modify, and implement company policies and training materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with internal legal counsel and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Regulatory Awareness

Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks, and keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.

Reporting and Compliance

Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate, and assume the role as primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and government agencies on all Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime matters in connection with both legal entities.

Training and Development

Train (or arrange training) staff in AML KYC checks, and ensure that all employees are aware of their compliance responsibilities.
