Role Overview:

We are currently in search of a Compliance Manager to enhance our Operations team at our UK headquarters. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring that Craft Distilling Group complies with all applicable legal standards and internal policies across our operations in the UK, USA, Australia, and Ireland.

The Compliance Manager will be tasked with overseeing the Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime initiatives, managing team members across all entities within the Craft Distilling Group. As an international organization, we are poised for future growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement remediation and mitigation strategies for compliance risks, ensuring that senior management is informed through regular management routines and comprehensive reports.
  • Continuously assess and enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Regularly review procedures and reports to uncover potential risks or compliance issues.
  • Oversee the Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance process.
  • Create, update, and enforce company policies and training materials.
  • Work collaboratively with internal legal and HR teams to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate potential compliance risks associated with future business ventures.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and best practices in compliance management.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management and external regulatory authorities as necessary.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and government agencies regarding compliance and financial crime matters.
  • Provide training or arrange training for staff on AML and KYC protocols.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a background in investment or a related field, although we welcome applicants from diverse industries.

  • Comprehensive understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting protocols and documentation practices.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Work Environment:

Our team operates from the office five days a week, fostering a collaborative and engaging atmosphere.
