Position Overview:

We are seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee our operations from our UK headquarters. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Craft Distilling Group adheres to all legal standards and internal policies across our operations in the UK, USA, Australia, and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement remediation strategies for compliance risks, ensuring senior management is informed through regular reports and assessments.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of procedures and reports to uncover potential risks or compliance issues.
  • Manage the Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance process.
  • Create, revise, and implement company policies and training materials.
  • Work closely with internal legal and HR teams to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Analyze future business initiatives to identify compliance risks.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in compliance management.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and external regulatory agencies.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies regarding compliance and financial crime matters.
  • Provide training or arrange training for staff on AML and KYC procedures.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a background in investment or a related field, although we welcome diverse industry experiences.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting protocols and record-keeping practices.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Work Environment:

Our team operates from the office five days a week, fostering a collaborative and engaging atmosphere.
